Underlayment Grade Cork acceptable underlayment in nearly every jurisdiction in the United States. It meets both the national and international building codes for Impact Sound Classification (IIC) and Sound Transmission Classification (STC) in multi-level units. Cork is a natural and fully renewable resource. A perfect match for the environmental initiatives of a number of states. For this reason, hundreds of new buildings have approved underlayment as a product of choice under hardwood, laminate, ceramic, marble, and other floor coverings.
